Another drawing by Willi's father, Ludwig Kriessmann, of two men sleeping in a top bunk at Wolfsberg Detention camp. It is titled "Emergency accommodation in the makeshift home." Note the artist's initials LK in the lower corner.
Ludwig Kriessmann was also a violinist and played 1st violin in the camp orchestra. His wife brought his violin to him there. She also brought some books for them both, but was hard-up to bring them any extra food. Unlike Auschwitz and the German main detention camps, Wolfsberg offered no library, no newspapers, and no Red Cross packages like the Jews had gotten.
